The airport is situated on a 650-acre site three miles east of McMinnville with a lighted instrument landing system runway of 5,418 x 150 feet.

The airport has a 1,000-foot paved stopway on the departure end of runway 22, providing capacity to handle corporate jet aircraft.

The Airport Commission  is an advisory board to the City Council regarding all necessary rules and regulations for the conduct, management, and operation of the Airport; charges, fees, and tolls for the use of the Airport; leasing and/or entering into contracts with the Airport; and the annual budget.

Aircraft rentals, flight instruction, aircraft maintenance, fuel (80-IOOLL and Jet A), glider instruction and rides are available by contacting the fixed base operator, Cirrus Aviation, at 503-472-0558. Corporate lease sites are also available.
