Known as "The People Place," the McMinnville Community Center is centrally located within easy walking distance to McMinnville's Historic Downtown District.

With its variety of meeting rooms, classrooms, convention and reception facilities, performing arts auditorium and recreational facilities, the Center hosts more than 200,000 event, program, and drop-in participants annually. It is also the headquarters for the McMinnville Parks and Recreation Department.

Many of McMinnville's local service clubs call the Community Center home for weekly and monthly luncheons and meetings. An in-house caterer is available to serve the needs of any meeting group, reception, or special event, large and small. Because of its size and versatility, the Community Center hosts most of McMinnville's major community events, including the annual Mayor's Ball (February) Missoula Children's Theater Residency (July), Annual Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet (September), School District Holiday Concerts and Performances (December), and other service club, business and private celebrations throughout the year.

Convention Facilities and Meeting Rooms
Conventions, workshops, and seminar facilities are available. Auditorium seating for 500-800 people is available. The center also offers a variety of meeting rooms with seating capacities ranging from 30 to 200 people, as well as limited storage space for local clubs and associations.

Auditorium
As a performing arts theatre, the auditorium offers high quality acoustics for concert or theatrical productions. The retractable seating also allows it to be used for major dance events, receptions and large parties.

Food Service
Catering services are available, and range from simple coffee service to full banquet accommodations.

Athletic Facilities
Facilities are available to residents and non-residents through the purchase of memberships or by paying a daily drop-in fee. The facilities include: racquetball/handball, indoor resilient jogging track, basketball and locker rooms.
