McMinnville CityFaire 2011 will be held Saturday, September 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Discovery Meadows Park, 1300 NW Cypress St.

This annual celebration honors our community volunteers. There will be food, music, entertainment, jugglers, stilt-walking, acrobatics and hot air balloon rides.

Enjoy booths representing various city departments. Bring a reusable water bottle to help reduce waste. Water will be available for refills. We encourage you to ride your bike or walk to the celebration. Secure bike parking is available.

We invite the entire community to join us for fun, food, and entertainment!

Boka Marimba - Portland’s original high-energy African-style marimba ensemble

Rhys Thomas - Interactive comedy and high-level circus tricks

Leapin’ Louie - A master of physical comedy, trick roping, fancy whip cracking, juggling, unicycling; a virtuoso of new vaudeville and alternative circus

Nomadic Theatre Company - A variety of physical theatrical forms including clown, mask, puppetry, dance, stilt-walking and acrobatics

There are limited balloon ride slots available. Pick up your timed ticket first thing in the morning from the hot air balloon station.

Punt, Pass, Kick Competition - From 10 a.m.
A national skills competition for girls and boys age 6 to 15 to compete separately against their peers
