McMinnville Parks and Recreation provides a variety of community-wide recreational sports opportunities and programs year-round for both youth and adults.

Youth Sports
Youth Sports is a signature program that honors sportsmanship and good will among athletes. Participants are given an opportunity to enhance their skills, learn the responsibilities of teamwork, and strive for excellence within a competitive atmosphere.

Seasonal league programs for boys and girls include youth soccer (fall and spring), basketball (winter), and softball and baseball (late spring/summer) and a variety of sports related clinics, lesson series (tennis), workshops and camps. More than 2,500 kids ages 6-14 and over 300 adult volunteers participate in youth sports programs annually.

In addition to the many participants and volunteers, more than 35 local businesses participate as team sponsors or provide general program donations each year.

Adult Sports programs encompass a variety of league and drop-in opportunities including coed volleyball (fall/spring), church volleyball (winter), men's soccer (spring through fall), over-30 basketball (all year), men's softball (spring/summer) and coed softball (summer).

Youth and adult programs are scheduled at Joe Dancer Park, Discovery Meadows Community Park and throughout many of the McMinnville School District indoor facilities.
