Police Officer Use of Deadly Force
In 2007, the Oregon Legislature passed Senate Bill 111 requiring the District Attorney and Sheriff of each County to co-chair a local Planning Committee to develop a plan about the use of deadly force by police officers. The law required that the plan be completed and circulated for approval to each of the Cities in the County on or before July 1, 2008.
The Yamhill County Planning Committee members were:

Marlene West, Oregon State Police Lieutenant
