The City of McMinnville maintains its roads and an extensive network of bike lanes within the city. Public transportation, including bus service and commuter connectors, are provided by the county.

Bus Service (local)
YAMCO has been providing public transit service to Yamhill County residents since 1985. In McMinnville, YAMCO buses run from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 503-472-0457 ext. 22.
- North/south on Hwy 99 - extends as far north as WinCo/Safeway and as far south as Bi-Mart.
- East/west - extends from downtown to Willamette Valley Medical Center, Yamhill County Housing Authority and numerous other human service agencies.
- Sheridan and Willamina - one trip in the morning and one trip in the afternoon.
Dial-A-Ride
For individuals who are disabled or cannot access any of our fixed route services, Dial-A-Ride is available from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is a curb-to-curb bus service and is available throughout the county. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Please call 503-472-0457, ext. 22.
Medical Transport
For county residents who need to travel to medical appointments in Portland, cost-free Volunteer Medical Transport is available. Contact YCAP at 503-472-0457, ext. 22, or toll free 1-800-945-9992, ext. 22.
Portland Metro Commuters
For commuters into the Portland metro area, an "express" commuter route offers a connection with Tri-Met in Sherwood. There is one round trip in the morning and one round trip in the evening.
Salem Link
Yamco Transit provides a fixed route service along Hwy 221 between McMinnville and Salem. This route links with SAMT bus services in Salem. It departs twice a day from McMinnville – once at 5:30 am and again at 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. For information call 503-472-0457 ext. 22.
99W Corridor Link
A bus runs throughout the day from McMinnville to Sherwood. For more information, call 503-538-7433.
Hwy 47 Corridor Link
This bus operates along the Highway 47 corridor starting from McMinnville to Carlton, Yamhill, Cove Orchard, Gaston to Hillsboro at the MAX Light Rail terminus. Running two times each weekday from 5:30am to 7:35am and 5:30pm to 7:30pm. For more information, call 503-472-0457 ext. 22.
