COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR AUGUST 8, 2023

The McMinnville City Council met on August 8, 2023 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2023-45: Approving Code Compliance Liens on Properties to recover unpaid civil penalty citations. (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Community Development Director.)

2023-49: Authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Solid Waste Systems for the purchase of a Combination Cleaner Vacuum Truck. (Point of Contact: Leland Koester, Wastewater Services Manager.)

2023-50: Awarding the Professional Services Contract for the 30% design of the Third Street Improvement Project. (Point of Contact: Jeff Gooden, Project Manager.)

2023-51: Approving the acceptance of an FAA and COAR Grants for the Airport Master Plan Update. (Point of Contact: Willy Williamson, Airport Manager.)

2023-52: Approving the third Amendment to PSA with Erskine Law Practice to Provide City Prosecutorial Services. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar, Finance Director.)

Approved Ordinance:

5137: Ordinance Amending Titles 2.50, Code Compliance, and 8.10, Public Nuisances, of the McMinnville Municipal Codes. (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Community Development Director.)

In other business: 

Proclaimed August 19th, 2023 as Lemonade Day. 

Approved OLCC Application request from Ocelli Cellars LLC dba: Ocelli Cellars.

Approved OLCC Application request from Patton Valley LLC dba: Patton Valley Wines.

Approved OLCC Application request from Stickmen McMinnville LLC dba: Stickmen Brewing Company.
