COUNCIL SNAPSHOT FOR JANUARY 10, 2023

The McMinnville City Council met on January 10, 2023 and took the following actions:

Approved Resolutions:

2023-01: Ratifying Billing Services Agreement w/MW&L. (Point of Contact: Jennifer Cuellar,  Finance Director)

2023-02: Establishing a role for the Affordable Housing Committee in conducting outreach and making recommendation to City Council for use of Affordable Housing Construction Excise Tax funds. (Point of Contact: Heather Richards, Community Development Director)

Resolution No. 2023-03 REMOVED from agenda. 

In other business:

Councilors Sal Peralta, Zack Geary, Jessica Payne were sworn in. 

Council went through the Election of Council President and Council President Garvin was elected to continue as Council President.

Approved OLCC Liquor License for Scenic Woods LLC dba: Scariano for Winery Primary location at 707 NE 5th Street.

Approved OLCC Liquor License for Jose's Taquiera for Limited on-premises, location at 1259 SW Booth Bend Rd.

Held Executive Session pursuant to ORS 192.660 (2)(h) To consult with counsel concerning the legal rights and duties of a public body with regard to current litigation or litigation likely to be filed.
