NOMINATION SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. 

Mayor Drabkin will be hosting the newly reinvented State of the City/Community Fair on Thursday, May 30th, 2024. During the State of the City Address, she will be honoring outstanding members of the community and we are seeking nominations. We need your eyes and ears as we look for friends, neighbors, co-workers, or peers who regularly demonstrate service, mentorship, or leadership to others in our community. If you have someone in your circle who you think should be recognized, we’d love to hear it! There will be four (4) awards given to community members one for each of the following categories: 

• Community Service Award: To honor persons who are making meaningful contributions to their
  community through their time, actions, talent, or general dedication.
• Emerging Leader Award: Recognizes active members of the community who demonstrate strong
  leadership abilities with a focus on service to others.
• Emerging Leader: Youth Award: Recognizes civic-minded young persons who demonstrate
  leadership to improve the quality of life in their community.
• Legacy Award: To honor those who have created lasting change and measurable differences in our
  community through their role, organization, or long-time service.

If you know someone and would like to nominate them, please fill out the nomination form due at 5:00pm on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Nominees who are selected by the Mayor will be honored at the City’s Community Fair on May 30th, 2024. LAS PRESENTACIONES DE NOMINACIONES YA ESTÁN CERRADAS

La alcaldesa Drabkin será la anfitriona de la recién reinventada Feria del Estado de la Ciudad/Comunidad el Jueves 30 de Mayo de 2024. Durante el discurso del Estado de la Ciudad, honrará a miembros destacados de la comunidad y estamos buscando nominaciones. Necesitamos sus ojos y oídos mientras buscamos amigos, vecinos, compañeros de trabajo o compañeros que regularmente demuestren servicio, tutoría o liderazgo a otros en nuestra comunidad. Si tienes a alguien en tu círculo que crees que debería ser reconocido, ¡nos encantaría escucharlo! Habrá cuatro (4) premios otorgados a los miembros de la comunidad, uno para cada una de las siguientes categorías:

• Premio al servicio comunitario: Para homenajear a las personas que están contribuyendo de manera significativa a su comunidad con su tiempo, sus acciones, su talento o dedicación en general.
• Premio al líder emergente: Premia a los miembros activos de la comunidad que demuestran una gran capacidad de liderazgo orientada al servicio de otras personas.
• Líder emergente: Premio para jóvenes: Premia a los jóvenes con vocación cívica que demuestran liderazgo para mejorar la calidad de vida de su comunidad.
• Premio al legado: Para homenajear a aquellos que han generado un cambio permanente y que han marcado una diferencia significativa en nuestra comunidad por su función, organización o servicio durante muchos años.

Si conoce a alguien y desea nominarlo, complete el formulario de nominación que vence el Martes 30 de Febrero de 2024 a las 5:00 p.m. Los nominados seleccionados por el alcalde serán honrados en la Feria Comunitaria de la Ciudad el 30 de Mayo de 2024.
