Planning Projects Underway

Below is a list of the projects and land use applications currently under review by the Planning Department. These projects and applications require approval from the: Planning Director, Planning Commission and/or City Council.  

 

Planning Projects

Below is a list of proposed/adopted amendments to the McMinnville Comprehensive Plan (Goals & Policies) and Zoning Ordinance.  These amendments require a public hearing before the McMinnville Planning Commission with final adoption by ordinance from the City Council.

Below is a list of Appeal applications.   Appeals of a Planning Director decision require a public hearing before the Planning Commission.  Appeals of a Planning Commission decision require a public hearing before the City Council.  City Council decisions may be appealed to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA).  

Below is a list of proposed/adopted requests for a Comprehensive Plan Map and/or Zone Change. These amendments require a public hearing before the McMinnville Planning Commission with final adoption by ordinance from the City Council.

Below is a list of proposed/approved Planned Development and/or Planned Development Amendment applications.   Planned Developments generally accompany a Zone Change request, while Planned Development Amendments, amend a current development.  Both require a public hearing before the McMinnville Planning Commission with final approval by ordinance from the City Council.

Below is a list of proposed/approved Subdivision requests.   Subdivision requests with fewer than 10 lots are approved administratively by the Planning Director.  Subdivision requests with 10 or more lots require a public hearing before the McMinnville Planning Commission.

Below is a list of proposed/approved Conditional Use Permit requests.   Conditional Use requests require a public hearing before the McMinnville Planning Commission.

Below is a list of proposed/approved Variance requests.   Variance requests require a public hearing before the McMinnville Planning Commission.

Below is a list of proposed/approved Minor Partition applications.  Partition requests are reviewed by the Planning Director.

Below is a list of Historic Landmark review applications.  The Historic Landmarks Committee (HLC) reviews these applications at a public meeting and issues a Certificate of Approval for the following applications:  Demolition, Moving, New Construction, or Exterior Facade Alteration.

Jonathan Aliabadi is requesting a sign standards exception to allow an existing freestanding sign to exceed the height and size standards for freestanding signs on commercially zoned properties.  The exception request serves as the property owner’s appeal of the nonconforming sign amortization process
